I lover the dvd maker in windows 7 and now on windows 10 it is gone is there any chance that it will be included in any updates. Can anyone tell me a dvd maker that works on windows 10

I have the same question. Loved the DVD maker in Windows 7. Have used it to make wonderful DVDs of my families trips to Europe. Now I cannot make new DVDs or open my current files. Seems like a big oversight by Microsoft.

I'm so sorry I downloaded Windows 10. Not only am I not able to find most of what I'm looking for, I've also lost the DVD Maker that was on the computer with Windows 7.

It seems that whenever Microsoft makes what should be improvements, everything goes awry. I depended on that DVD Maker to download the video's from my Flood light with the video Camera. Now I'm forced to watch the footage on the computer or buy and download a DVD Maker. Will this be fixed?

Me too! I used the DVD Maker in Windows 7 every year to make a slideshow for out-of-state grandparents. I REGRET UPGRADING TO WINDOWS 10! I wish I could somehow switch back to Windows 7 so I could use DVD Maker again.

Hows this, thought I would put together a kids DVD for xmas tonight..the PC does not do what it used to? Now I have to buy what I used to have on the same computer? Mac's always had the feature to make movies, still do.. Microsoft, dont do upgrades if your product has less features!!! Thats a downgrade. Can anyone post me a link to DVD software that is free and works?

I really regret getting this 'upgrade' as I can now do less than what I was able to do with 7. 10 Has a lot of things, most of which I will probably never use, ie. X Box, Groove music, their calendar (I have one one the wall) and I sure as heck aint gonna link me email to this.
